The program is under the cultural cooperation framework signed between the two ministries of culture during the Romanian Prime Minister’s visit to Vietnam last July.
Romanian Doina Oltului art troupe will perform traditional songs and Calusari dances.
The Calusari dance is considered one of the fastest and most spectacular dances in the world and is included by UNESCO on the list of Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of the universal culture.
Besides the performance in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Doina Oltului will join Vietnamese and Wallonie-Bruxelles artists in a show on March 17 at Hanoi Opera House.
