After the selection round to divide contestants into teams, twelve contestants went on to the five challenges of the show, including acting in front of the camera, creating a character image, auditioning for a sitcom, acting in a Luu Quang Vu's drama, and making short films.
"The challenges we created this year are based on the requirements and skills that a television actor must have, such as facial expressions, acting on stage, among others. Those are the core skills that all actors should master," said journalist Phan Lac Long, deputy head of Youth Program Department of VTV.
The attraction of "Road to the Rainbow" this year comes from a group of potential contestants, including those who have impressed audiences as actors, TV hosts, models and singers.
Another attraction of the show is the team of judges. In addition to 3 head coaches who are People's Artist Trong Trinh and actresses Thu Quynh and Lan Phuong, each challenge will feature the participation of guest judges.
Not only do they act and share experiences, but they are also the determining factor in the results of each round.
With new challenges, a lineup of contestants with many promising faces, carefully prepared scripts and the dedication of the judges, eight episodes of Road to the Rainbow promise to bring viewers many pleasant surprises.
