Vu Tien Loc – Chairman of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) said: “I think we are now touching on the most difficult issues of economic restructuring, issues that we haven't yet been able to solve. The main issues are the restructuring of State-owned enterprises, improving the management of State capital and improving the efficiency of using State capital so we can finally solve the current bad debt problem”.
Nguyen Dinh Cung – Director of Central Institute for Economic Management – said: “We have to re-channel capital to the private sector. To be able to do that, we need to restructure the list of State assets and channel capital from inefficient projects to efficient ones. To restructure the State-owned enterprise sector, we need to let some projects go bankrupt if they have lost liquidity”.
