The sites are built on 5,000 square kilometres and located in Mộc Châu town. The place was inspired by the poem “Tây Tiến” by poet Quang Dũng. The centre of the site is a memorial house with a carving of a letter by General Võ Nguyên Giáp to the soldiers in the Tây Tiến troop on February 1st, 1947. The Tây Tiến Memorial Site was expanded to include Lâm Viên Relic Site two years ago. Many impressive things were included in the site, like Pha Luông, and a reed garden.
