This annual event aims to introduce volunteers, youths and workers in the city to social activities.
This year, the Red holiday attracted over 40 thousand participants. Activities will vary in content and expression. Volunteers will be divided into 9 teams to participate in specific activities. These include environmental protection, the promotion of a civilized lifestyle, new rural construction, and island oriented activities.
The campaign will take place mostly in rural areas, industrial zones, and surrounding provinces, and also in Laos and Cambodia. The month-long event will last until August 8.
