The average registered capital per enterprise also increased sharply, reaching VND12.6 billion, the highest level in recent years, forecasting the better health of newly established enterprises.
For the nine-month period, the whole country had nearly 102,300 newly registered enterprises with a total registered capital of nearly VND1.3 quadrillion, up 5.9% in number and 34% in terms of the registered capital as compared to the same period in 2018. The average registered capital of a newly established enterprise was at VND12.6 billion, up 26.6%.
If including over VND1.7 quadrillion of additional registered capital of enterprises, the total registered capital pouring into the economy in the nine months of 2019 was at more than VND3 quadrillion.
In addition, there were 27,600 enterprises that returned to operation, an increase of 20.5% over the same period last year, bringing the total number of newly registered enterprises and enterprises returning to operation in the past nine months to more than 129,800.
The total number of registered labourers of newly established enterprises in the first nine months this year was 929,800, increasing by 13.4% against the same period last year.
The number of enterprises that suspended their business operation in the nine months of this year is at 21,200, down 7.9% compared to the same period last year.
