Quang Nam proposes to upgrade status of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone

Despite initial skepticism, over the years, this economic zone has grown to become the backbone of Quang Nam Province's economy, and is the driving force for the development of the central region.

With such achievements, Quang Nam Province is proposing to the government to upgrade the status of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone to a special economic zone for improved mechanism.

With its foundation and potential, Chu Lai Open Economic Zone is well positioned to work alongside the three special economic zones of North Van Phong, Van Đon and Phu Quoc.
