This week, a delegation of US Congressmen paid a field visit to a dioxin site undergoing decontamination at Da Nang International Airport. The event is an example of the efforts to strengthening of ties with the United States in many fields.
The US and Vietnam have also made specific commitments and documents, with co-ordination between Vietnamese ministries and the United States Agency for International Development in addressing the consequences of war.
