Proposal to upgrade Tan Son Nhat airport submitted
VTV.vn - The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has recently submitted to the Ministry of Transport its plan to upgrade the capacity of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

According to the plan, Tan Son Nhat International Airport will serve 43 to 45 million travellers each year. If the plan is approved, about 850 million US dollars will be used to increase the aircraft area by 1.5 times, build 3 additional taxiways, and construct terminal T4 with a capacity of 15 million passengers. The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has also proposed improving 18E route, Hoang Hoa Tham road and C2 road, which lead to the new terminal, and building a Y-shaped flyover to link Truong Son Street with the airport.
