Final Round of Human Act Prize held

VTV.vn - The final round of the Human Act Prize 2023 took place with the theme Dau An Tien Phong (Pioneering Imprint) at the Thai Hoc house of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (The Temple of Literature), Hanoi, on November 24.

Human Act Prize is an annual national award to honour and promote projects for the community, as well as recognise worthy organisations, businesses and individuals, who are making efforts to contribute to society.

The award is organised by Nhan Dan Newspaper, with the participation of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the coordination of VCCorp Corporation.

Speaking at the event, Member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association Le Quoc Minh, Head of the Executive Awards Organising Committee of Human Act Prize 2023 said: “As soon as we considered the first projects, we felt optimistic because the participating individuals and organizations invested very carefully and in detail for their project. That shows their great interest and trust in the Human Act Prize 2023."

He affirmed: "Activities for the community, whether of individuals, organisations, or businesses, is necessary to be sustainable and should be carried out properly. Therefore, the Human Act Prize 2023 will appreciate ideas and projects that have methodical and sustainable operations."

The 35 projects that entered the final round of this year's Human Act Prize are all the best initiatives, achieving one or more criteria at the same time: Promising, Sustainable, Inspirational, Durable and Timely.

In addition, the projects cover all areas of life, showing that the Human Act Prize has received enthusiastic responses and participation from many organisations and individuals in many fields. At the Final Round, representatives of 35 projects directly presented and answered questions from the Board of Judges within the allotted 10 minutes.

The Jury Board considers, evaluates, and decides on the winning applications for the category, selecting the best project to win the first season of the Human Act Prize.

The finalised projects are being showcased at the Dau An Tien Phong (Pioneering Imprint) exhibition in the Bai Duong Courtyard of the Temple of Literature from November 24 to December 3.
