The Nguyen Tieu festival, which falls every year on the 15th day of the first lunar month, is a spiritual event of great significance for Hoi An's residents as people to pray for peace, prosperity, and luck in the year ahead.
During this special occasion, Hoi An city plans to host a wide range of activities including ancient town night, poetry night, and ritual ceremonies at pagodas as well as temples. Other spiritual and community-based activities will be held across the ancient town of Hoi An.
