Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Do Hoang Long highlighted President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions to Vietnam's national liberation, saying he hopes that the program will help the Egyptian better understand Vietnam's history and achievements and President Ho Chi Minh.
In his address, Deputy Head of the External Relations Commission of the Party Central Committee Tran Dac Loi said the fine traditional relationship between Vietnam and Egypt serve as a firm foundation for the two countries to augment cooperation at international forums
“We will boost exchanges at high levels to create frameworks and strategies for bilateral ties. We will invite Egypt’s leaders to visit Vietnam to discuss ways to boost bilateral cooperation. We need to further strengthen exchanges at multilateral forums," Loi said.
Egypt’s Ambassador and Assistant to Foreign Minister in charge of Culture Medhat El Meligy said culture is an important channel to boost bilateral cooperation in politics and economics.
The programme also includes many short clips featuring Vietnam, its culture and people.
