The event took place in Hanoi on Monday, drawing the attendance of governmental, ministerial and local leaders.
At the event, reports were delivered on the operation of the social policy credit program in the 2002-2017 period. Credit was used to help 4.5 million households escape poverty. Over 31.8 million poor households and social beneficiaries accessed preferential loans from the bank. The Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has developed special and effective ways of applying the policy.
