Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said Vietnam continued to consistently pursue its foreign policy of peace, independence, diversification and intensive international integration, while attaching importance to developing its friendly neighbourliness and comprehensive co-operation with China. He urged China to increase imports of Vietnamese goods, and welcomed Chinese investors. Regarding the East Sea issue, he suggested both sides strictly follow common perceptions and agreements, and soon signing the Code of Conduct. Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang said China was willing to intensify strategic dialogue with Vietnam and address disputes properly so as to develop the Sino-Vietnamese comprehensive strategic co-operative partnership in a stable and sustainable manner.
