The PM asked them to create Ngoc Linh ginseng products that can compete with famous ginseng brands worldwide. He also asked them to fight against fake Ngoc Linh ginseng and to make sure that the brand is protected. He recommended that Kon Tum work together with Quang Nam province where Ngoc Linh ginseng is also being planted.
On the same day, the PM visited a Ngoc Linh ginseng growing project in Tu Mo Rong district in Kon Tum, which covers nearly 500 hectares of land. With about 1 million plants, the project has provided products for both domestic and foreign markets.
The PM declared Ngoc Linh ginseng as a national treasure that can help to improve living standards and generate jobs for local farmers while also contributing to the State budget.
