Price of Vietnamese shrimp exports to US fall

Currencies of competitors such as India, Indonesia, Ecuador, and China have devaluated  by 20-to-30%, while the Vietnamese dong only fell slightly. According to VASEP, Vietnam's shrimp exports to the US in the last months of the year are expected to rise thanks to results of anti-dumping tax POR9 and the end of TPP negotiations. Vietnam is the 5th largest shrimp supplier to the US after India, Indonesia, Thailand and Ecuador.
