Price of Tra fish and white legged shrimp recover in the Mekong Delta

VTV.vn - According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers, the purchase price for tra fish and white legged shrimp in Dong Thap Province in the first week of August is increasing compared to previous months.

The price is about 1 USD for fish weighing from 0.7-0.8 kg, an increase of 2.4% compared to last week.

Since the beginning of August, the price of white legged shrimp in the Mekong Delta has also increased by 3 to 5% compared to July. The reason is many farmers in the Mekong Delta have reduced production of seafood. This is to avoid risks in aquaculture during the rainy season, usually beginning in early May.
