President Tran Dai Quang pays official visit to India

The visit comes at the invitation of Indian President Ram Nath Kovind.

It takes place in the context of the traditional Vietnam- India friendship and their multifaceted cooperation, the strategic partnership the two countries established in 2007 and its enhancement to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2016.

This afternoon the State President is scheduled to hold talks with Indian PM Narendra Modi on tightening cooperation, with economic and trade ties being a major focus.
