President attends 40th anniversary of Saigon-Gia Dinh

In his address, President Tran Dai Quang praised the city’s robust development over the past four decades, and asked the government to facilitate the city’s development. HCM City is a special urban, economic, political, cultural, and social center, and a key region in the south.

In his speech, the Secretary of HCM City’s Party Committee Dinh La Thang highlighted the city’s achievements over the past 40 years, adding that it aims to become a major economic, financial, trade, scientific, and technological center in Southeast Asia.
