Power consumption hits record high during heat wave
VTV.vn - According to Vietnam Electricity (EVN), the ongoing heat has pushed electricity consumption in the north to a record high.
In some areas, there's a possibility that the local grid may overload and cause problems for the system. EVN Hanoi has also advised companies and households to minimize electricity consumption, especially during peak hours, to avoid overloading the grid, which would lead to power cuts.
