Positive results from senior APEC Meeting

Deputy Foreign Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn described the meeting as positive. The meeting approved the Policy Dialogue Framework on human resources development in the digital era and Multi-stakeholder dialogue on APEC Co-operation towards 2020. Deputy Foreign Minister Sơn also said other members welcomed Vietnam's initiatives because they touched upon concerns on people and businesses' through economic growth in the digital age. The meeting consensus has created momentum for a successful APEC Year 2017 and reinforced APEC's position as a leading regional economic forum.
