VTV.vn - Hanoi police will investigate alleged hostage takers in Dong Tam Commune in Hanoi's outlying district of My Duc.

The police are attempting to prosecute people for holding people hostage and damaging property. On April 15th, during a working session with local authorities, a number of local residents held 38 people at Hoanh Village Culture House,  including officials of My Duc district and officers of the Hanoi mobile police force.  After Hanoi People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung visited and talked with local people, the 38 people were freed.
