PM urges stronger efforts to build e-government

VTV.vn - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc announced that a national committee for an e-government will soon be established.

On Monday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired the National Committee's conference on IT application regarding the topic of establishing an e-government in Hanoi. He clarified some key tasks for ministries, sectors and localities to speed up e-government building in 2018.

The PM said that the government is urging the relevant sides to press on with perfecting mechanisms and policies, including those on investment, tax incentives, renting IT products and services, and creating a market for domestic IT products.

The conference was held as a response to several e-government and digital government surveys that were conducted by Minister, Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung in Estonia, France and Malaysia.
