Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Tuesday reiterated Vietnam’s consistent policy to work with Laos to further deepen relations between the two countries in a practical and effective manner during his meeting with Vice President Bounnhang Vorachit in Hanoi.
PM Dung pledged to provide full support for Laos to assume the ASEAN Presidency in 2016. The Lao Vice President said that Laos treasured Vietnam’s sincere and valuable assistance, reiterating that Laos attached special importance to the relationship with Vietnam. Vice President Bounnhang Vorachit expressed his hope that the two countries would continue co-operation in various areas, including economics, trade and investment.
