VTV.vn - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on November 3 offered a floral tribute to a statue of President Ho Chi Minh in Montreuil on the outskirts of Paris after arriving in France for an official visit.

The Vietnamese head of government expressed his delight to visit the city and meet French friends while thanking the city’s leaders and people for their special sentiment towards Vietnam.

PM Chinh affirmed that Vietnam always considers France as a top partner in Europe and is willing to further deepen the bilateral strategic partnership.

For his part, Montreuil Mayor Patrice Bessac expressed his honour to welcome the Vietnamese leader and underlined the shared history of the struggle for equality and unity, and the fight against injustice.

On the occasion, PM Chinh and Mayor Bessac planted a memorial tree at Montreuil Park and visited the Museum of Living History and the Ho Chi Minh Space.
