Plant protection chemical imports fall

VTV.vn - Data from the General Department of Vietnam Customs shows Vietnam spent more than 140 million USD on imported pesticides, plant protection products and raw materials to make pesticides from China in the first 5 months.

Imports of these products dropped by nearly 20% compared with the same period last year. Among the 39 thousand tonnes of imported pesticides, around 50% were herbicides. Imported pesticides from China account for the largest share of this market.
