The event was attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and Politburo member, Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of PCC Commission for Communication and Education Vo Van Thuong, together with Government officials, and leaders of Hanoi City authorities.
There are a total of 79 photos on display, which capture the life of natural birds, particularly red-crowned cranes.
Tran Lam is former Vice President of the Kien Giang Provincial People’s Committee, and member of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA).
In addition to winning many international and domestic prizes in photography, Lam has also actively participated in charity projects to support poor patients and improve the livelihoods of people in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
After the exhibition concludes, Lam will give away all of the exhibits and 3,000 copies of his photo books entitled ‘Moments of Nature’ to raise fund to support poor cancer patients.
The event will be open to public until October 25 at Exhibition House, 45 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
