PetroVietnam kicks off port and warehouse project
VTV.vn - The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, or PetroVietnam, kicked off a project on Sunday to build an oil and gas service port and a bonded warehouse for fuel on Phu Quoc Island.

Politburo member Le Hong Anh attended the ceremony. The Phu Quoc oil and gas service port will cover 180 hectares and mainly serve the southwest region of the country. The port and bonded warehouse will compete with ports in Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar for the temporary import and re-export of fuels to Southeast Asia and other parts of the world. PetroVietnam could start work on the project if related procedures are completed as soon as expected. The firm plans to complete it within two years.
