Peace festival opens in Dong Thap

In her opening speech, Vice Chairwoman of Sa Dec City People's Committee Vo Thi Binh said that the festival aims to review the fierce but glorious history of the national struggle for independence, freedom, and happiness.

It is also an opportunity for Sa Dec City to strengthen and expand connections with many provinces and cities while boosting tourism and helping the business community foster investment and trade promotion activities, contributing to facilitating local socio-economic development.

Taking place until April 30, the festival features various activities, such as a cooking contest, a street carnival, an e-sports tournament, a song-writing contest in Sa Dec City, and a tennis tournament.

Tourist attractions in Sa Dec city also host many interesting activities in response to the festival.
