The VTV delegation was led by Le Ngoc Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, and General Director. The delegation also included Deputy General Director Do Thanh Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Nguyen Viet Phuong, members of the Party Standing Committee, and representatives from several VTV departments.
The delegation was received by Major General Dinh Quoc Hung, Secretary of the 969th Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, and Colonel Pham Hong Sang, Deputy Chief of Politics, along with other senior officials of from the Mausoleum Protection Command.
During the meeting with VTV, Major General Dinh Quoc Hung highlighted the honor entrusted to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command in preserving and protecting the remains of President Ho Chi Minh and promoting the Mausoleum's political significance. He emphasized the dedication of the officers and soldiers in fulfilling their sacred duties. The Command and VTV have been working closely together on propaganda and media efforts, and both parties aim to strengthen this cooperation further.
In his remarks, Le Ngoc Quang expressed profound gratitude for the warm welcome and support of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command. He highlighted VTV's VTV’s early and thorough planning for significant national anniversaries, in coordination with the Ministry of National Defense. He noted that VTV is prepared to provide extensive coverage for upcoming commemorations such as the 77th War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the 55th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army, and the 35th All People's Defense Festival. During the meeting, the VTV delegation was honored to receive the Ho Chi Minh Badge, a prestigious award personally conferred by President Ho Chi Minh to exemplary individuals. VTV also presented a commemorative gift to the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command.
Following the meeting, the VTV delegation laid wreaths and offered incense at the Memorial for Heroes and Martyrs. The wreath bore the inscription "Eternal Gratitude to the Heroes and Martyrs." In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the delegation respectfully bowed to the spirits of the heroes and martyrs, expressing their deep gratitude to the nation’s outstanding sons and daughters who sacrificed their lives for the country's liberation and independence, ensuring peace, prosperity, and happiness for the people.
