VTV.vn - Two more COVID-19 patients were given the all-clear on the afternoon of June 12, bringing the total number of recoveries in Vietnam to 323 out of a total of 332 confirmed cases, or 97.3%.

The duo announced as recovered are Patient 297 (30 years old, male, from Hai Phong) and Patient 298 (29 years old, male, from Thai Binh).

Both are overseas Vietnamese who returned from abroad and were quarantined immediately upon entry to prevent any risk of spreading the disease to the community.

After undergoing treatment at the Hanoi-based National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, the patients are now in stable health condition, without fever and cough and are eligible for the all-clear.

They will continue to be isolated and monitored for the next 14 days.

The latest recoveries leave only two remaining patients in treatment at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

As of the morning of June 12 , Vietnam remained clear of community transmission for 57 consecutive days.

Of the 332 cases confirmed so far in the country, 192 were imported and quarantined upon arrival.
