Outstanding credit expected to increase to over 9%

VTV.vn - According to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), along with the positive developments of the economy when the pandemic is under control, outstanding credit in September has increased with positive outlook, which is up by 2%.

In addition, total outstanding credit this year can increase to over 9%. Also according to SBV, in the second quarter of 2020, outstanding credit only increased by about 4.2-4.3% with an exceptional increase in September from 4.3% to 6.1%.

Up to now, the SBV has reduced lending interest rates by 3 times, creating a source of affordable capital for banks and credit institutions to provide loan with lower interest rates for businesses.
