The event took place at a time when enterprises are ramping up production to prepare for the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Job vacancies are available in many fields such as garments, electronics, plastics, business and technical services from enterprises in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho and Hai Duong.
In Hanoi alone, 35 enterprises are looking to employ more than 1,200 workers.
Employees are promised to have salaries ranging from 7-15 million VND (300-650 USD) per month.
Major employers at the job fair include BigC Thang Long, Yasufuku Vietnam and Goldsun Vietnam and Con Cung.
