VTV.vn - Although there were many moments of regret, all four contestants agreed that this week's "Road to Olympia Mount" competition was truly memorable.

This week, Oh! Olym deals with four contestants—Ngo Hoang Thinh (Nguyen Thien Thanh Specialized High School - Tra Vinh), Nguyen Thang Long (Chu Van An High School - Thai Binh), Tran Ngoc Nhat Minh (Amsterdam Specialized High School - Hanoi), and Nguyen Doan Hoang Manh (Nguyen Sy Sach Specialized High School - Nghe An)—as they conquer the Week 2 - Month 2 - Quarter 4 challenge of Road to Olympia Mount.

In the Individual Warm-Up round, the first three contestants, Hoang Thinh, Thang Long, and Nhat Minh, all achieved a perfect score of 60 points. However, the final contestant, Hoang Manh, only managed to earn 40 points, which left  him feeling  somewhat disheartened. "I felt weighed down, but I still motivated myself to better prepare for the next round", Manh shared.

In the General Warm-Up round, Hoang Manh and Thang Long faced off and eagerly rang the bell to gain the right to answer. According to the program's statistics, Thang Long answered four times while Hoang Manh answered six times. The secret of quick bell ringing reflexes, as revealed by the contestant from Thai Binh, lies in practicing natural reflexes.

The Overcome Obstacle round left the contestants with many regrets as none of the four could come up with the correct answer. This was the first time on Road to Olympia Mount 2024 that no contestant was able to solve the program's obstacle.

After three questions, Nhat Minh, Hoang Manh, and Hoang Thinh each rang the bell and gave three different answers: "Network," "Look," and "Law," but none were correct. This time, it  was the audience who answered correctly, leaving all four contestants in disbelief.

In the Speed-Up round, Nhat Minh answered all four questions correctly, earning 150 points. Hoang Manh and Hoang Thinh both answered three out of four questions, scoring 90 and 70 points respectively. Finally, Thang Long answered two questions correctly for 40 points. Not only did the young man from Hanoi earn the most points, but he also gave the fastest answer, clocking in at 0.59 seconds.

When asked about his strategy, Nhat Minh admitted that he relied on his intuition: "I often follow my gut feeling, typing out an answer to see if the pattern holds". This can be considered a sharp strategy.

In the Finish round, each contestant displayed a different level of determination. Hoang Manh was focused on answering quickly and accurately, Nhat Minh emphasized the importance of certainty in his answers, Hoang Thinh believed in a strong finish, and Thang Long was determined to fight "until the very last breath".

The rounds were intense, but once Nhat Minh claimed the laurel wreath, the remaining contestants felt relieved and relaxed, despite lingering regrets. Hoang Manh said, "The competition allowed me to fulfill many childhood dreams and experience amazing things that I had never encountered before".

Meanwhile, the winner remained quite composed: "The competition created many meaningful experiences. I learned a lot of knowledge and had the chance to compete in both skills and knowledge from daily life". Additionally, the contestants all valued the time they spent getting to know each other through Road to  Olympia Mount, even forming a music group called the Four Lines.
