On its third edition, the annual competition attracted the participation of 80 teams with 160 members from across the country. In addition to exciting races, participants had the chance to learn about pick up truck maintenance and driving, and contribute to raising the public's awareness of the importance of safe driving. The competition was jointly organized by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh Province, and the Hanoi Offroad Club. The event, the largest of its kind in Vietnam, is part of a series of activities being held for the 2018 National Tourism Year of Ha Long- Quang Ninh.
