The peak period of heavy rain will last the entire day and evening of September 30th, focused mostly in the Thanh Hoa area. Average rainfall will reach 60 - 120mm and over 150mm in some places.
Nghe An and Ha Tinh will experience rainfall of about 40-70mm and 120mm in some places. After the last 2 days of rain, soil and rock have been inundated with water, which could cause landslides and flash floods in mountainous areas from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh. There's also a high chance of flooding in low-lying areas and along rivers.
