Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh and His Journey to Bring Olympia’s First Live Broadcast to Gia Lai Province

Securing a victory in the Quarterly competition with an impressive score of 250 points, Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh successfully brought the first live broadcast to Gia Lai province. Nhat Minh’s journey to conquer the competition began with his participation in the school-level Road to Olympia Mount. After overcoming tough challenges, he excelled and  became the champion. He was selected  to represent Hung Vuong Specialized High School to compete in the 24th edition of VTV’s Road to Olympia Mount.

A Close Second in the Weekly Competition

In the weekly round, contestant Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh demonstrated his exceptional knowledge  by  scoring 70, 30, and 60 points in the first three rounds. Notably, in the final sprint, he successfully answered all three questions in his 20-20-20 point package and even correctly answered two additional questions from other contestants. However, in the tie-breaking round to decide the winner, Nhat Minh could notovertake Le Tra My, who had the same leading score. Nevertheless, with the highest second-place score  of the week, Nhat Minh secured the final spot in the monthly competition.

Although he does not win first place, Nhat Minh impresses with his outstanding performance in the weekly round.

Securing the Laurel Wreath in the Monthly Competition

In the third monthly competition of the second quarter, Nhat Minh’s consistent performance stood out. He quickly led the contest by solving the puzzle "Blood Donation" in the Overcome Obstacle round. Continuing his strong performance through the Speed-Up and Final Sprint rounds, he added  another 70  points to  maintain  his lead. With a total of 190 points, Nhat Minh successfully claimed the laurel wreath in the third monthly competition of the second quarter.

Overwhelmed by Winning the First Spot in the National Finals for Gia Lai Province

This round saw fierce competition among  the four contestants, all of whom were eager to bring the satellite location back to their hometowns. At the end of the first round, Nhat Minh took the lead with 60 points. Despite an incorrect answer in the Obstacle Course round, he stayed focused and correctly answered 3 out of 4 questions in the Speed-Up round, bringing his total score to 190. In the final sprint, Nhat Minh chose a safe 20-point question package and correctly answered all three questions. In the end, he scored a total score of 250 points to  become   the champion of the second quarterly competition in 2024.

The highly anticipated 2024 final will be an intense showdown between four young men from Phu Yen, Gia Lai, Thua Thien Hue, and Hanoi. W  Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh, the representing Gia Lai, is expected to be a strong contender for the championship title after his excellent performance in the previous rounds.

The 2024 Road to Olympia Mount Grand Final - 24th Edition will be broadcast live at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024, on VTV3 and streamed online on VTV News.
