On the evening of November 30, the large-scale charity concert Nghia Tinh Phuong Nam 2025 took place at Riverside Park in An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, and was broadcast live on VTV9. The event was jointly organized by the VTV Center in Ho Chi Minh City, the Party Committee and People’s Committee of An Khanh Ward, and Khong Ten Tea Lounge. The aim aim was to raise funds to support victims of natural disasters and floods in Central Vietnam in 2025.
In attendance were leaders from central ministries and agencies, including former Politburo Member and former Standing Member of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh; Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh; Director General of Vietnam Television Nguyen Thanh Lam; Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Truong Thanh Hoai; and from Ho Chi Minh City, Party Central Committee Member, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Duoc. Also present were leaders from various departments and representatives from Central provinces.

Representatives of 18 individuals and organizations donate cash and in-kind contributions during the event.

During the event, 18 individuals and organizations made donations in cash and in kind. According to the organizers, the total amount raised reached VND 25.01 billion, which will all be transferred directly to the Vietnamese Loving Heart Fund to support disaster relief, home reconstruction, and livelihood recovery.
The event, titled Nghia Tinh Phuong Nam 2025 brought together 24 well-known artists, including Hong Nhung, Quang Dung, Thanh Thao, Cam Van, Khac Trieu, Jimmii Nguyen, Le Hieu, Uyen Linh, Trung Quan Idol, Giang Hong Ngoc, MTV Group, Cece Truong, Bach Cong Khanh, On Vinh Quang, and Jack Long. MC Nguyen Khang and editor Thuy Hang hosted the program, delivering a cohesive and emotional experience for both live and television audiences.
The event attracts a large audience.
The outdoor stage by the Thu Thiem riverside was modern yet intimate, creating a deeply emotional atmosphere for viewers. In addition to the 2,000 tickets sold, 3,000 free seats weremade available to allow more people to participate and donate. The concert was also simulcast on An Ninh TV and broadcast by provincial media outlets in Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, and Tay Ninh, as well as on VTV’s digital platforms, enabling millions nationwide to turn their hearts toward Central Vietnam.

The funds raised and upcoming relief programs will help victims rebuild their lives and move forward after devastation they have experienced.
