From the promise of the Ho Chi Minh youth generation to build a greener nation, to a world of technology at everyone’s fingertips, whether in rural or urban areasand from the early “Mass Literacy” movement to today’s “Digital Literacy for All”, history continues to hold deep humanitarian meaning, awakening aspirations and the will to grow in the digital era.
The Digital Citizen Gala: Golden Key Unlocks the Future, co-organized by the Central Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, VTV, and Viettel Group, was broadcast live on November 29 on VTV1.
Participants included Mr. Vu Manh Ha, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Deputy Minister of Health; Mr. Vu Thanh Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Ms. Tran Thi Hien, Deputy Chairwoman of the Central Inspection Commission; and Mr. Dinh Dac Vinh, Deputy Director General of VTV.
Digital Transformation - Digitization Reaching Every Layer of Society
The program shared the story of Nguyen Dai Phat (19, Nghe An), who used drones to deliver food to flood-stricken communities. These digital initiatives have become lifelines in times of emergency.
A talk session with representatives of two groups: Tu Tat Huan and Dang Long from Thongtincuuho.org , and Nguyen Dai Phat and Le Dinh Long from the “3-Region Disaster Relief” team - the volunteers who used drones to deliver emergency supplies.
The program also introduced advanced disaster prediction initiatives such as the “Vietnam Landslide” app, developed by a research group led by Prof. Dr. Do Minh Duc from Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The tool combines digitalization, AI, IoT, and Big Data.

A notable moment was when Ms. Dinh Thi Tuyen, the village head and livestreaming group leader in Phuong Duc Commune, Hanoi, conducted a live online sales broadcast directly on stage.

This segment highlighted digital transformation in public services, healthcare, administration, and infrastructure, providing citizens and businesses with faster and more convenient experiences.

Digital aspirations ignited when everyone embraced digital transformation
The final chapter emphasized national aspirations through digitalization, highlighting Vietnamese products entering global markets, economic breakthroughs, and innovation-driven development.
Viewers were introduced to the digital transformation of the Vietnam National Museum of History, where immersive technologies and 3D mapping are redefining heritage preservation and the way stories are told.
Director Truong Quoc Toan, the mastermind behind many heritage revival projects, and scriptwriter of the 3D mapping film for the Temple of Literature project.
When every citizen becomes digitally literate, and every sector undergoes transformation, Vietnam gains needed momentum needed to achieve rapid and sustainable development, entering a new era with confidence and vision.
