Below are the specific programs and the planned broadcast schedule on VTV8 during the New Year and Lunar New Year:
1. Artistic program "Journey of Happiness": December 31, 2023.
The program tells stories that praise positive aspects with inspiring stories in life, as well as showcases scenic landscapes, the region and its people in Central Vietnam. The program will feature performances by famous singers such as Hồ Trung Dũng, Phương Thanh, Vân Khánh, Nam Cường...
A longer version of the program will be aired on the first day of the Lunar New Year 2024, allowing viewers to look back on the past year and send their New Year wishes through documentaries and stories about Central Vietnam - Central Highlands. It will feature cheerful songs and many stories about artists who bring joy to life through their works or volunteer activities aimed at the community.
2. Countdown 2024: The countdown program to welcome the New Year in Da Nang City on the evening of December 31, 2023.
3. Documentary series: "Biên giới không xa" (Not Far Away Border) tells stories of police officers helping people in border villages and islands. It will be aired from December 31, 2023 and will include 12 documentaries:

4. Music program with the theme “Rạng ngời sắc xuân" (Blooming Spring): Broadcast on January 1, 2024.
The music program welcoming the new spring prepares musical gifts for the audience with wishes for a joyful and prosperous New Year.
5. Art program "Trường Sơn Đông Calls Trường Sơn Tây - The legend of Vietnam" broadcast on the first day of the Lunar New Year, the program will not only tell the story of the Trường Sơn Trail connecting the two regions of the country, but will also be an occasion to express gratitude and pay tribute to the heroic generations of the past.
6. Art exchange program “Người truyền lửa" (The Torch Bearers): Broadcast on the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year 2024. In the program, village elders, those who inspire and contribute to the development of the village, will share stories about their lives and their journey of "passing the torch".
7. Art program “Giữ trọn lời thề" (Keeping the Oath): Aired on the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year 2024, it tells the story of police officers who sacrifice themselves for the peace of the people and the homeland.
