The five hospitals include 1,200-bed general hospital, tuberculosis hospital, oncology hospital, mental hospital and pediatrics hospital. In the next 4 years, once those hospitals go to operation, problem of overloading in the province will be resolved. There are currently 185 clinic and hospitals with a capacity of over 4,000 beds, but there are only 2 provincial hospitals, meaning Kien Giang has suffered from serious overloading.
