A joint conference on endoscopic surgery for digestive problems was held this morning in Hanoi between Saint Paul Hospital and French city of Strasbourg’s University Hospital, Montsouris Institute and the Louis Mourier University Hospital.
The event drew the attendance of National Assembly Deputy Chair Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân, and representatives of the Ministry of Health and Hanoi's municipal authorities and the leading endoscopic surgeons.
The French surgeons will perform operations and offer lectures on new endoscopic surgery techniques. They will help Vietnam build a research institute in scar-free surgery.Ministry representatives highly appreciated the collaboration and hoped it would promote Hanoi as Vietnam’s specialist digestive treatment centre.
