Firework displays were lauched in Hanoi, HCMC and Danang to welcome 2016. Thousands of people went to the centre of the cities to enjoy the firework as well as art performances.
The weather was cold with light rain in Nha Trang but the city was lightened up with vibrant light and music performances.
Meanwhile, in Can Tho city, thousands of people also celebrated the New year Eve with art performances at Lưu Huu Phuoc park.
