National Index of Industrial Production down

IIP in HCMC went up 6.9%. IIP growth has decreased due to a decline in the mining industry caused by falling oil prices. 

In the second quarter of this year, crude oil output went down by 6.1%. Meanwhile, the inventory level of processing and manufacturing industries in the first half of this year rose 9% year on year. Industries with the highest inventory levels include motor vehicles, electronic products, computer, and paper.
