The event opened in Hanoi on Aug 15. Themed “Children with children’s issues,” the event addressed proposals concerning problems such as drowning, violence, child abuse, the impact of digital technology on children’s development, child trafficking, and early marriages.
Through presentations, art performances, and paintings, children expressed their hopes to live in a safer environment, to have better care, and to learn more life skills.
On August 17, the children will meet, talk and send recommendations directly to the leaders of the State, the National Assembly, ministries and other branches of the government.
