Among the draft documents are the revised Civil Code, revised Civil Procedure Code, revised Criminal Procedure Code, Law on Information Security, Law on Referendum, and Law on Belief and Religion.
During the session, the committee will also consider issuing regulations and criteria regarding the allocation of development investment from the State budget from 2016-2020, joining the Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods 1980 as well as making amendments and supplements to NA meeting regulations.
Following the opening ceremony, the committee discussed major issues on a draft law on amendments and supplements to the Law on Accounting. According to NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, the bill should be open, transparent, accurate and suitable to international practices.
In the morning of the first working day, the committee members also debated the Law on Fees and Charges. In the afternoon, they are scheduled to give opinions on issuing regulations and criteria on the allocation of development investment and the draft revised Law on Statistics.
