National Assembly enters last working day of 6th session

VTV.vn - The 14th National Assembly (NA) entered the last working day of its sixth session today, November 20.

At this final plenum, deputies voted on the sixth session's resolution with 462 deputies in favor, equivalent to 95%. NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan delivered a speech concluding the sixth session, asserting that consensus has been found over important matters.

The National Assembly elected General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to hold the State President position. Later on, the NA ratified the Comprehensive Partnership and Partnership Agreement (CPTPP), making Vietnam the seventh country to ratify the treaty.

The National Assembly Chairwoman also suggested deputies continue promoting the spirit of renewal and be more active in legislative work.

The closing ceremony of the sixth session took place on Vietnamese Teacher's Day. On behalf of the National Assembly, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan sent congratulations to teachers nationwide, emphasizing their roles and contributions to the fundamental renewal of the country's educational mission.
