National Assembly discusses policies to support economic recovery

The draft Resolution that the Government submitted to the National Assembly proposed a fiscal and monetary policy package worth nearly VND 350 trillion for economic recovery. Of which, the fiscal policy alone amounts to 291 trillion dong.

To implement it, the Government has proposed allowing an increase in the State budget deficit to a total amount of VND 240,000 billion for the two years of 2022-2023. During the discussion, the majority of the National Assembly deputies expressed their agreement with the Government's proposal.
