National Assembly chairwoman sworn in

In the swearing-in ceremony on July 22, the newly-elected NA Chair pledged absolute loyalty to the fatherland, the people and the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. She promised to work with other NA deputies to continue renovating and improving the quality of NA performance to make it united and creative and act in the people’s interests, the honour and pride of the nation, and national sustainable development. The four candidates for the Vice Chair positions; Tòng Thị Phóng, Uông Chu Lưu, Đỗ Bá Tỵ and Phùng Quốc Hiển, were also re-elected.
