Speaking at the meeting, the NA chairwoman praised the positive development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Japan and Vietnam. Chairwoman Ngan expressed her hope that the two sides would increase investment, technology and labour ties. She also said Vietnam was always ready to co-operate with Japan in increasing investment in ASEAN member countries. Gunma Governor Osawa Masaaki said that during this visit, businesses in Gunma are seeking opportunities to co-operate and invest in Vietnamese agriculture and hi-tech projects.
